Every KRA Shop review scores the product on five criteria: formula transparency, quality of evidence, seller claim accuracy, purchase and refund terms, and overall value. We do not claim to have used a product unless we actually have, and each review says so explicitly.
What we do before publishing
- Read the seller's current sales page and FAQ in full, including the fine print on shipping and refunds.
- List every factual or scientific claim the seller makes and check it against the product itself, not just against evidence for one ingredient in general.
- Cross-check ingredient and mechanism claims against primary sources where they exist: government health databases (such as NIH/NCCIH and the EPA), regulatory monographs (such as the EMA), and peer-reviewed research.
- Flag any number or claim we could not verify, instead of repeating it as fact.
- Check the current guarantee, refund window and purchase terms on the seller's page, with the date we checked.
- Write in plain English, separating what the seller says from what we found.
How we keep reviews current
Sellers change formulas, prices, guarantees and claims without notice. That is also why we don't publish prices: they change without warning, and the right figure is always the one on the seller's page. Each review shows its last fact-checked date, and we revisit reviews periodically.
What we never do
- Invent a personal experience with a product we have not used.
- Use fabricated testimonials or stock photos presented as real customers.
- Accept payment, free product or any other consideration in exchange for a favorable rating.
- Let a seller preview, edit or approve a review before publication.
How we make money
Product links in our reviews are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The commission never changes a score. Health reviews carry a notice that they are not a substitute for medical advice.
